Fort McMurray, Alberta (October 3-4, 2013) – Lone Tree Remote Camps, LLC (dba Lone Tree USA) attends the Camp Logistics and Workforce Accommodation Forum. The two-day event was the second of its kind hosted by CI Energy Group (www.canadianinstitute.com/2014/478/camp-logistics-and-workforce-accommodation). We are grateful for their efforts in hosting the event. We would also like to acknowledge their recent contribution to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund.
The forum’s main focus was to help promote a better living environment for the workforces housed in the Fort McMurray area. It also promoted efficiency in managing the many details that come with building and operating man camps. Lone Tree found the conference educational and inspiring. As a company, we heard some ideas that might help us enhance our current and future facilities. Our goal is to become the most efficient camp provider in the industry.
Lone Tree enjoyed meeting new people within the industry. The forum was beneficial in understanding current market trends and how we might better meet potential client needs. The conference promoted several options for facility innovation, solutions for proper facility maintenance, hiring techniques, and getting the most out of limited budgets. The forum’s speakers also suggested new ideas on caring for camp residents. The conference allowed time for reviewing industry standards and technology advances that will change the industry in upcoming years. Lone Tree found the convention of value.
Lone Tree looks forward to future events similar to the Camp Logistics and Workforce Accommodation Forum.
