ISO 9000

KPI

Key performance indicator. This is a type of performance measurement. An organization may use KPIs to evaluate its success, or to evaluate the success of a particular activity in which it is engaged.
Leach Field

Leach fields, also called septic drain fields or leach drains, are used to remove contaminants and impurities from the liquid that emerges from a septic tank. The leach field is effective for disposal of organic materials (ie: human waste) readily catabolized by a microbial ecosystem.
Lean Manufacturing

Lean manufacturing, Lean Enterprise, or lean production, often simply, "lean", is a production philosophy that considers the expenditure of resources in any aspect other than the direct creation of value for the end customer to be wasteful, and thus a target for elimination. Working from the perspective of the client who consumes a product or service, "value" is any action or process that a customer would be willing to pay for.
